Back in 2015, a pressing need was expressed by the local community for avenues of higher education in the sciences. No local college offered the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree across 238 villages of Dharampur and Kaprada talukas in Valsad district.
Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur was prompt to respond to this need under the benevolent initiative of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.
Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth was formally dedicated to society on 27 October 2016, in the gracious presence of Pujya Gurudevshri and Pujyashri Sharadbhai Vyas. The formal lokarpan ceremony of Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth was done by Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, and Shri Ganpatbhai Vasava, Minister of Tribal Development, Forests and Tourism (Government of Gujarat).
