1. Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth

Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth is the first science college in Gujarat to receive the ISO 9001 and ISO 29990 certifications. The institute provides quality higher education in the science stream offering Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in the fields of Chemistry, Microbiology, Botany and Mathematics, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry and Microbiology. With state-of-the-art infrastructure, a focus on all round development and a dedicated placement cell, the college is shaping a bright future for local youth from over 250 villages.

1. Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth

2. Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul

Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul is a secondary and higher secondary science school offering rural students the right infrastructure and environment to parent them into becoming constructive members of the society. The school focusses on holistic development by integrating academic performance with life skills, extra-curricular activities like sports and cultural avenues and hands-on learning. It is one of the pioneering schools to introduce a pre-vocational program in Gujarat back in 2015 and is home to rural adolescents from over 100 villages. Seeing the school’s performance, the District Education Officer entrusted it to support and handhold 102 other local rural schools for improvement in 10th grade results.

3. Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyavihar

Students from tribal villages located in remote interior hilly tracts do not have schools easily within their reach. Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyavihar is a residential village school upto 10th grade located in Tamachhadi village of Dharampur taluka in Valsad district. Modelled as an ‘ashramshala’ which is a residential school model for tribal communities to access education, the school is rooted in local culture while providing students the wings to explore beyond. It is home to students from tribal communities of around 22 villages.

3. Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyavihar

Students from tribal villages located in remote interior hilly tracts do not have schools easily within their reach. Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyavihar is a residential village school upto 10th grade located in Tamachhadi village of Dharampur taluka in Valsad district. Modelled as an ‘ashramshala’ which is a residential school model for tribal communities to access education, the school is rooted in local culture while providing students the wings to explore beyond. It is home to students from tribal communities of around 22 villages.

4. Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre

Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre is a dedicated centre in Dharampur to improve the employability of the local youth by offering them short-term market linked vocational training and soft skills training at no cost. Some of the courses that have been offered by the centre include Mobile Handset Repair, General Duty Assistant, Assistant Electrician, Office Assistant, CCTV Installation & Repair Technician etc. All students receive NSDC accredited certificates and an equipment kit upon course completion and are assisted with placements and even entrepreneurial and financial linkage support post completion.

5. Shrimad Rajchandra Education on Wheels

This unique project uses a specially designed van to bring quality academic and vocational learning to under resourced middle and secondary interior village schools. The van is equipped with educational tools that are used by specialized subject teachers to supplement learning in Math, Science and English. Further, special trainers use vocational equipment which is mounted on the van for prevocational education enabling it to function as a mobile workshop for hands-on learning of students. Shrimad Rajchandra Education on Wheels and coaching projects support over 38 unique schools across 25 villages reaching over 3700 students with educational coaching and prevocational training.

This unique project uses a specially designed van to bring quality academic and vocational learning to under resourced middle and secondary interior village schools. The van is equipped with educational tools that are used by specialized subject teachers to supplement learning in Math, Science and English. Further, special trainers use vocational equipment which is mounted on the van for prevocational education enabling it to function as a mobile workshop for hands-on learning of students. Shrimad Rajchandra Education on Wheels and coaching projects support over 38 unique schools across 25 villages reaching over 3700 students with educational coaching and prevocational training.

6. Shrimad Rajchandra Vidya Vikas Yojana

Shrimad Rajchandra Vidya Vikas Yojana provides financial assistance to support higher/technical education of rural students through scholarships and zero interest loans. Rural Scholarships are offered as a merit cum means scholarship in the form of a financial reward in support of incidental expenses of students enrolled in various post 12th courses. A scheme of interest free loans is also available whereby financial assistance is extended to in need students for the purpose of education. Several students have been supported under this program across streams like Medicine, Engineering, Nursing and other professional education streams.

This volunteer led project involves distribution of notebooks and stationery items at highly subsidized rates, acting as a catalyst to sustain the educational aspirations of students from less privileged backgrounds. Items are sold at 40% below market price, proving to be a boon for several families whose financial burden is being mitigated. Started in 2004, the Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Aids project has expanded to over 270 centres across India. In 2019, over 2 lakh students benefitted from this drive under which notebooks and stationery items are distributed at highly subsidised rates.

Shrimad Rajchandra Pustakalay is an initiative to donate libraries to foster the joy of reading in rural schools. Libraries teach children how to share, to be engaged in their communities, and to explore a new world through books. By donating libraries to local community schools, we aim to inculcate a keen curiosity and love for knowledge in young students.

Shrimad Rajchandra Mid-Day Meal Programme provides nutritious, hygienic mid-day meals for school children. Poor nutrition is a big challenge that impediments learning for students from rural hinterlands who often have to travel over very long distances for education.
