Campus placement was organized at Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth (SRV) for students interested in pursuing their careers in the industry. 10 reputed companies from Valsad, Pardi, Vapi and Sangh region like Atul, Aarti Industries, Alchem Pharmaceuticals, Scott Poonavala, Merill Lifesciences, Themis Medicare, Swati Spentose, Sidmak Laboratories, S. Kant Healthcare and Exemed Pharmaceutical had arrived at SRV. Students studying in the final semester from M.Sc., PGDMLT and B.Sc. participated enthusiastically in this placement drive. They were selected through written test and interviews. More than 85% students were offered jobs by various companies. Students joining these companies will build their career in departments like production, research and development, quality control and quality assurance across different sectors of industry like chemical, pharmaceutical and medicine. Shinu Kurian of Merrill Life Sciences gives his opinion saying, “Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth is doing a very good job for students of this vicinity. We found students with very good fundamentals.”
Before the campus placements, industry visit, discussions with industry experts, job-interview training, resume making, mock interviews were organized at SRV. Along with this, former students who got placement in different companies were invited by the college for them to share their experience and provide tips to students for cracking the interview and succeeding in the industry.
