Wisdom incarnate Param Krupaludev has mentioned in Aank 19 Point 575 of Seven Hundred Mahaniti (written when He was 20 years old) – ‘Establish Education Institutes’. Embodying this benevolent spirit is Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, established under the guidance of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji. This institute is a platform provided for students to flourish not only in education but also to attain all-round development.
On the occasion of the commencement of the tenth year of Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth (first science college in 238 villages of Dharampur and Kaprada), an exciting retreat was organized for its students and staff members. About 300 students and 40 staff members participated in this retreat which was organized between 13th to 15th August 2024. During this retreat, the day commenced with Yoga. The mission’s various spiritual and social activities were shown to them via an expansive video. Students and staff were delighted when given a detailed tour of the Ashram too.
Students were shown the drama ‘Yugpurush-Mahatma na Mahatma’ which served as an inspiration to acquire values from the pious life of Param Krupalu Dev. Value based games were organized for students which taught them important life lessons in an entertaining manner. Special classes were conducted by Atmarpit Swadhyakars on self-development. Apart from this, eminent graphologist and author Pinky Acharya taught the students about the art of living life. All were also blessed to join the Evening-Aarti in the holy atmosphere of the Jinmandir.
The second day’s evening had a presentation of a dance drama ‘Mara Toh Bhagya Khulya’ which depicted sensitivity and gratitude. This dance drama was performed by the students and covered several topics like inception of Vidyapeeth, working methods, success stories of our alumni, opinions of various industry experts and dignitaries about the Vidyapeeth etc. The dance drama was attended by 500 guests which included student’s families, industrial experts, alumni, etc.
Students Jainish Nayak and Niyati Patel gave an emotional speech on their experiences of being part of Vidyapeeth. Students of Vidyapeeth had made a portrait of Param Krupalu Dev. This along with a Turban and a Token of love was offered to Pujya Gurudevshri by the staff members of Vidyapeeth. After the Aarti ceremony, everyone was blessed with a photo session and received a memento from Pujya Gurudevshri.
Students participated in the Independence Day celebrations and left the Ashram with fond memories of an exciting retreat. We pray at the lotus feet of Param Krupalu Dev and Pujya Gurudevshri that through these consistent efforts for all-round development, the students will truly blossom and scale great heights in the true sense.
